Who I am

My name is Till and I'm a cosplay and portrait photographer based in Bielefeld, Germany, slowly building my own small photography portfolio. Portraits, cosplay, conventions and events are especially close to my heart — on location in Bielefeld or wherever your shoot takes us in the surrounding area.

Personal

My Vision

  1. Dokomi 2026

    My very first convention. A friend, Marcel, spontaneously lent me his camera so I could take some photos for a mutual friend — my first time ever shooting with a real camera at a convention.

  2. Alone

    When Marcel then went off to join other friends, I suddenly found myself completely alone: unfamiliar gear in my hands, thousands of people around me, and from one moment to the next I had to figure out on my own how to handle it all.

  3. The pause

    At some point it got to be too much. I was completely overwhelmed, so I took a step back — just stood there and let the hall wash over me. I watched the people around me: the laughter between groups of friends, the joy over a costume that had come together, small glances and gestures no one else had noticed.

  4. The realization

    Right in that moment, it hit me for the first time what photography actually means to me. It's not about the perfect shot or the most expensive gear — it's about capturing moments that are inherently fleeting, but should never be forgotten.

  5. My vision today

    Ever since, I try to find and capture exactly those small, unassuming, but truly special moments in every single shoot. In the end, there's really just one thing I want my photos to do: give you back the feeling you had in that exact moment.
